The Role Overview:
The Manager of Event Programs at Seramount is a pivotal position within EAB Seramount, a strategic entity dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace.
We provide innovative organizations with integrated tools that offer a comprehensive framework for establishing new benchmarks in workplace culture. With over four decades of experience, we have developed profound, data-driven insights into the employee experience, enabling us to tackle specific client challenges related to DEI. The Seramount events team orchestrates over 35 in-person and virtual DEI-focused events annually. We are in search of a Manager who is enthusiastic about diversity, equity, and inclusion and capable of overseeing each event from inception to completion. This role involves managing multiple projects and serving as a key liaison to both internal and external stakeholders, including speakers, clients, and vendors, to create exemplary DEI events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the broader Seramount team to identify and align event topics/themes.
- Research and secure top-tier subject matter experts and thought leaders.
- Efficiently project manage and prepare all event speakers and moderators/facilitators.
- Create run-of-show documents, presentations, and scripts for both in-person and virtual events.
- Work closely with logistics, technical support, and production teams to ensure a seamless event experience.
- Continuously seek innovative ways to create impactful learning experiences for participants.
- Develop presentations, promotional materials, and communications to effectively market the program.
- Research and craft compelling program agendas.
- Oversee conference content and speaker selection, manage pre-show communications, and ensure successful onsite program execution.
- Contribute to long-term vision and brand development while managing speakers and operations tactically.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven success in managing events with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Passion for and knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Ability to manage complex processes and projects while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $42,000 - $62,500 per year. Actual salary may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location.
This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses or incentive compensation, which may depend on individual and organizational performance.
