Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operational activities for the technology program.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team to ensure effective and efficient technology projects are delivered to stakeholders.
  • Align programs and projects with the overarching technology strategy.
  • Supervise personnel in executing specific IT functions within a designated IT Portfolio, including but not limited to: Project Management, Customer Relationship Management, Data Management, Business Intelligence & Reporting, Enterprise and Solution Architecture, Application Development, Security, Governance, and Compliance.

  • Program Oversight: Supervise operations and staff within the assigned program to guarantee consistent processes and quality standards.
  • Program Execution: Lead staff supporting designated IT functions. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day processes tied to specific IT functions and collaborating with peer supervisors and IT Portfolio Managers to meet client needs.
  • Program and Project Management: Plan, oversee, and implement the delivery of technology projects or services. Manage staff assignments and priorities, develop training plans, and establish procedures and best practices.
  • Strategic Direction: Collaborate with peers and subordinates to define the strategic direction for the assigned technology program. Assess tools and prioritize work efforts with stakeholders from IT and business units.
  • Business Process Enhancement: Identify business processes that can be optimized through technology solutions. Develop processes and tools to facilitate increased efficiencies.
  • Reporting: Generate status reports on project plans, timelines, and progress updates. Engage in strategic planning for programs, projects, or systems.
  • Compliance Assurance: Manage compliance and ensure that staff adhere to required policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Track operational metrics on assigned IT functions and utilize those metrics to enhance function-specific processes.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in using computers and software applications.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills for applications, systems, and network issues.
  • Ability to develop, interpret, and apply policies and procedures in an IT context.
  • Technical expertise in technologies relevant to the assigned program.
  • Research skills to identify best practices and integrate them into organizational guidelines.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to foster and maintain professional relationships and interact effectively with clients and vendors.
  • Knowledge of technology and methodologies related to computer and network systems.
  • Expertise in people and resource management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 10 Years - Experience supervising technical staff and managing complex projects and teams.
  • 10 Years - Strong oral and written communication skills with diverse audiences.
  • 10 Years - Proven ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients and develop actionable work plans.
  • 10 Years - Experience interpreting and applying IT policies and procedures while organizing and prioritizing tasks.
  • 10 Years - Proficient in system analysis and design, including collecting and organizing performance metrics for management review.
  • 10 Years - Expertise in IT Policy Compliance, Program Oversight, Project Management, and Business Process Enhancement.
  • 10 Years - Experience managing IT functions including Governance, Compliance, and Operations.
  • 10 Years - Knowledge in Application Development, Project Portfolio Management, or Data Management.
  • 10 Years - Proven ability to lead IT professionals in planning, analyzing, designing, and implementing technology programs or systems for large organizations.
