Job Overview

Position Summary

Atlasbx is in search of a motivated and results-oriented Account Manager focused on driving growth within our B2B battery sector, specifically in the Automotive Aftermarket. This role emphasizes the importance of nurturing and expanding relationships with designated accounts, while executing a strategic account management plan. The ideal candidate will possess a strong self-motivation to meet and exceed targets in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forge and cultivate robust partnerships with clients through the creation of tailored sales initiatives, proposal submissions, contractual agreements, and effective category management.
  • Drive corporate goals by enhancing customer and market insights, while delivering innovative solutions that create business opportunities through prospect identification and industry evaluation.
  • Communicate the company’s value proposition to key accounts via client meetings, product launches, training sessions, and industry events.
  • Build relationships across various functions and levels within client organizations, focusing on understanding their strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary design validations and approvals from clients.
  • Lead demand forecasting efforts to synchronize customer needs with internal production capabilities.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients by providing support, insights, and recommendations for new opportunities and service enhancements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential product improvements or new offerings.
  • Compile and present relevant reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing competitive market data.
  • Report directly to the Vice President of Sales and undertake additional responsibilities to support personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with a strong results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education and Experience

  • Demonstrated success in a comparable B2B sales role.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Physical demands may include, but are not limited to:

  • Frequent movement throughout various operational areas.
  • Occasional use of scissor lifts or boom lifts.
  • Ability to navigate both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Proficient computer operation.
  • Occasional lifting of office equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Ability to pass a pulmonary function test for respirator use.
