Job Summary

The Chef de Cuisine is a key member of the Food and Beverage team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality of culinary operations in the hotel. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and train staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement culinary strategies to drive revenue growth and improve guest satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to maintain profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Director of F&B to create and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company standards and policies.
  • Conduct regular staff performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve culinary operations.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, and liquor laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred.
