Overview: The Business Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting enterprise-level applications throughout the organization. This position emphasizes enhancing operational outcomes and streamlining processes, including the design, development, integration, and execution of daily operations, organizational structures, and technological solutions. The coordinator fosters consistency and transformation by offering expertise and leadership to facilitate ongoing process enhancements and manage transitions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize monitoring tools proficiently and respond to alerts that affect operational environments.
  2. Oversee automated batch processing systems to ensure compliance with established service levels.
  3. Adhere to Problem and Escalation Management protocols, ensuring all issues are documented in the appropriate management systems.
  4. Provide support and coordination during critical incidents, resolving communication challenges related to business operations.
  5. Actively participate in daily support calls addressing operational concerns.
  6. Ensure proper documentation and resolution processes are followed for incidents, facilitating root cause analysis.
  7. Proactively identify, develop, and coordinate special projects in collaboration with operations leadership.
  8. Assess and implement operational enhancements, tracking results to ensure documented improvements.
  9. Evaluate and upgrade technical systems, collaborating with system owners to resolve issues and enhance performance.
  10. Maintain comprehensive process documentation for all applications, including customer interactions and vendor support issues.
  11. Ensure compliance with all control center, emergency response, and administrative processes in line with regulatory requirements.
  12. Communicate essential project elements effectively to gain organizational support for improvement initiatives.
  13. Design improvement projects that integrate organizational and technological changes, managing transitions and assisting others in navigating change.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with entry-level certifications from recognized organizations or equivalent documented experience.

A minimum of two years of experience in operations, process management, or process improvement within IT operations.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in team leadership.

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as HP Openview, Mercury ProMon, Mercury SiteScope, Badger, Network Node Manager, Microsoft Operations Manager, Magnum, and IBM Director.

ITIL Foundations Certification is a plus.
