About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for all aspects of supply chain and logistics management to support customer activity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure efficient and effective delivery of Vorto services
  • Work with clients to book pick-up and delivery of shipments
  • Communicate with area managers throughout the load cycle, providing updates as necessary
  • Manage and oversee the execution of day-to-day logistics operations
  • Monitor and manage inventory, storage, and transportation
  • Analyze and optimize logistical procedures
  • Ensure the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
  • Monitor shipments, costs, and timelines
  • Address and resolve shipment and routing issues
  • Build and maintain logistics provider relationships with new/existing brokers/shippers
  • Manage and oversee the consistent supply and delivery of materials from existing suppliers to customers
  • Work with area managers to ensure high utilization of drivers
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement
Requirements:
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to positively react to dynamic situations and make thoughtful decisions quickly
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour days, Monday through Friday
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and logistics software
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in all projects and an ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as necessary
  • Ability to multi-task projects and required tasks in an organized fashion
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as self-motivated in individual projects
  • Strong communication skills in order to communicate both verbally and in writing to drivers and clients
