Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Head of Business Systems Operations who possesses a strong technical background and a commitment to optimizing business processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and executing technology solutions that drive operational efficiency. Experience in system migrations and maintaining data integrity through meticulous data management practices (preferably with a focus on Salesforce) is essential. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the seamless integration and enhancement of systems such as CRM, CPQ, CLM, ERP, and more. You will also ensure that our business systems architecture and strategy align with the company's overall objectives and support various strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Architecture, Migration, & Implementation
  • Lead the strategy for Business Systems architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the implementation, integration, and deployment of critical business systems, including Dealhub and LinkSquares within our Salesforce framework.
  • Continuously evaluate the current state of the organization's Business System infrastructure to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Drive the development of key initiatives such as customer and partner portals on Salesforce Experience Cloud, focusing on feature prioritization and vendor management.
  • Manage the team responsible for the administration of all major systems, including Salesforce, Dealhub, and other Loftware platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors to assess build vs. buy decisions on key priorities.
  • In partnership with the EVP of Operations Transformation, lead the technical aspects of Loftware's Business Operations Transformation initiative, modernizing our business systems architecture.
  • Work closely with IT to evaluate new software and capability requests from the business, assisting requestors in developing business cases and evaluating alternatives.

Data Management and Integrity
  • Lead initiatives for data cleanup, enrichment, and maintenance, ensuring consistent reliability and readiness for business use.
  • Design and implement strategies to uphold data accuracy and relevance.
  • Utilize various integration tools and methods to promote interoperability.

System Migration Expertise
  • Manage system migration projects with a focus on data integrity and minimizing disruptions.
  • Develop and execute migration strategies tailored to diverse business scenarios, including expansions and system overhauls.

Business Intelligence
  • Oversee business intelligence capabilities, ensuring a unified source of truth and deep analytical capabilities.
  • Maintain and enhance the executive 'Insights dashboard' within our Qlik BI tool, ensuring accurate reporting on critical business metrics.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to develop and refine operational dashboards and automate metrics collection.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Mentor and lead a team of technical professionals and business system analysts.
  • Ensure project adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

Experience and Skills
  • Proven success in system migrations, with a focus on strategic vision and execution.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Salesforce, particularly the Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary technologies, architectures, and system integrations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data management, emphasizing quality, enrichment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-impact technology projects simultaneously.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Job Type and Location
  • Remote position, must be able to work in alignment with East Coast time zone.
