Key Responsibilities

  • System Administration: Provide day-to-day administration and maintenance of our Unix-based systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Network Management: Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems, including mainframe, mini, and client/server-based systems.
  • Storage Administration: Develop and implement SAN (Storage Area Network) administration, including configuration, initial installation, and upgrade, device management, and performance and reliability recommendations.
  • User Identity Management: Provide user identity management and authentication support, including Active Directory management and monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Expert Level Experience: Possess expert-level experience in Red Hat Linux administration, server virtualization, application/Web server administration (Apache/Tomcat/Weblogic), DNS and BIND, Oracle directory services, CISCO firewalls routers and switches, and network/storage connectivity configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Education and Certification: Hold a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline and four (4) years of experience, or seven years of relevant experience as a computer system administrator specializing in administrating UNIX. CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred.
