Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Head of Business Systems Strategy who possesses strong technical expertise and a commitment to improving business operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing technological solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Experience in system migrations and maintaining data integrity through thorough data management processes, particularly with Salesforce, is essential. In this position, you will play a key role in the seamless integration and optimization of systems such as CRM, CPQ, CLM, ERP, and others. You will also ensure that our business systems architecture and strategy align with the overall company objectives and support various strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Architecture, Migration, & Implementation
  • Lead the Business Systems architecture strategy for the organization, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the implementation, integration, and deployment of essential business systems, including Dealhub and LinkSquares within our Salesforce environment.
  • Continuously evaluate the current state of the organization's Business System infrastructure and software applications to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Drive the development and enhancement of key initiatives such as customer and partner portals on Salesforce Experience Cloud, including feature prioritization and vendor management.
  • Manage the team responsible for the administration of all major systems, including Salesforce, Dealhub, and other Loftware systems.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors to assess build vs. buy decisions on key priorities.
  • In close partnership with the EVP of Operations Transformation, lead the technical aspects of Loftware's Business Operations Transformation initiative, driving efforts to modernize our business systems architecture.
  • Work with IT to evaluate new software and capability requests from the business, collaborating with requestors to develop business cases and assess alternatives.
Data Management and Integrity
  • Lead initiatives for data cleanup, enrichment, and maintenance, ensuring consistent reliability and readiness for business use.
  • Design and implement strategies to maintain data accuracy and relevance.
  • Utilize various integration tools and methods to facilitate interoperability.
System Migration Expertise
  • Manage system migration projects with a focus on data integrity and minimizing disruptions.
  • Develop and execute migration strategies tailored to diverse business scenarios, including company expansions and system overhauls.
Business Intelligence
  • Oversee business intelligence capabilities, ensuring a unified source of truth, seamless integration, and robust analytical capabilities.
  • Maintain and enhance the executive 'Insights dashboard' within our Qlik BI tool, ensuring data accuracy and that the dashboard reports on critical metrics necessary for efficient business operations.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to develop and refine operational dashboards and automate metrics gathering.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Mentor and lead a team of technical professionals and business system analysts.
  • Ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and a strong commitment to excellence.
Qualifications

Experience and Skills
  • Proven success in system migrations, emphasizing strategic vision, execution, and problem-solving.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Salesforce, particularly the Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • Strong foundation in contemporary technologies, architectures, and system integrations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data management with a focus on data quality, enrichment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Able to manage multiple, concurrent high-impact technology projects.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Work Environment
  • Remote position, must be able to work within the East Coast time zone.
