Position Overview

This hybrid role is available in various HP locations across the United States.

Job Summary
The Commercial Organization (CO) encompasses multiple market teams and global functions dedicated to overseeing all commercial activities at HP.

This senior-level position within the central CO office is responsible for coordinating all CO teams and functions globally, ensuring that strategies, programs, and initiatives are effectively delivering value to our clientele.

The ideal candidate will possess robust program management skills, proficient planning methodologies, and exceptional presentation abilities, enabling effective interaction with all organizational levels, from executives to individual contributors.

In addition, you will spearhead the programmatic management of numerous internal and external initiatives, ranging from customer and partner planning to significant cross-functional events.

This role offers a distinctive opportunity to gain insights into the CO and support the team in a senior capacity, enhancing our ability to serve customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitates effective engagement between the Chief Commercial Officer and external customers and partners.
  • Oversees the programmatic management of various CO-wide initiatives, including Presidents Club, Amplify, and Sales Leadership Kickoffs.
  • Acts as the primary liaison for the L2 Chief of Staff team members.
  • Develops strategic recommendations based on complex data analysis and formulates actionable business plans.
  • Constructs financial models to evaluate new dimensions of business performance.
  • Establishes metrics to assess business performance and proposes strategies to address any performance gaps.
  • Maintains business continuity planning and processes for the CO.
  • Ensures adherence to CO records and retention processes for all business initiatives.
  • Supports the creation of comprehensive CO-wide reporting documents for stakeholders across the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Leads intricate, time-sensitive market research projects, identifying key trends and opportunities for business leaders.
  • Directs cross-functional teams throughout the entire spectrum of business planning activities, typically collaborating with L2 and L3 leaders.
  • Manages all aspects of priority projects, developing business plans and proactively identifying new opportunities in partnership with client business leaders.
  • Creates and implements comprehensive business plan recommendations based on analysis, emerging trends, and professional experience.
  • Advises business leaders on executing high-level strategies and devises innovative solutions.
  • Develops and implements forward-thinking strategies for cultivating and maintaining long-term business relationships.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • A four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience demonstrating competence.
  • Typically requires 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related domain.
