Regional Sales Executive for Shaw Carpet

Position Overview

Shaw Industries is a leading manufacturer and distributor of flooring solutions, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, and ceramic tile for both residential and commercial markets globally.


The Regional Sales Executive is responsible for enhancing Shaw's profitability and expanding market presence within a designated area.

This role focuses on cultivating strong customer relationships built on expertise, service, trust, and integrity.

Growth in business will be achieved through the execution of key market initiatives, effective sample distribution, and strategic inventory management.


Key Responsibilities:


Conduct daily sales visits to current clients, with a strong focus on selling rolls and quantities of carpet, samples, displays, cushioning, adhesives, and other related flooring products.


Present product offerings to retail partners, designers, and end-users while evaluating all leads generated from corporate analytics.

Regularly assemble and sell display units weighing 50lbs or more.


Continuously seek out potential new accounts while maintaining a thorough understanding of market dynamics within the assigned territory.

Compile reports detailing business transactions and sales performance, highlighting sales volume and potential opportunities.


Prepare and share periodic sales reports that outline actual sales figures, objectives, competitive landscape, and product requirements.

Review sales data by analyzing computer-generated reports specific to the territory to set goals and assist dealers in driving sales.

Manage travel and entertainment expenses as well as sample budgets to align with financial guidelines.



Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED is required. Previous sales experience is essential.

This position necessitates the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers in a courteous and professional manner.

The candidate must be proficient in using a laptop and familiar with basic Microsoft Windows applications, including MS Office.

Applicants should be physically capable of assembling and disassembling display fixtures.


Regional Sales Executives must utilize a vehicle that can accommodate various product sample boards, typically requiring a van or an approved SUV.

Ability to lift over 50lbs regularly is necessary.

The approved vehicle types include SUVs or vans that meet minimum storage capacity requirements.

Work Schedule

8-hour non-rotating shift, with hours falling within standard business operations.
