Overview

Warren Henry Automotive Group is expanding, and we are in search of an Automotive Title/Accounting Clerk with a background in accounting and title work within the automotive sector.

This role is integral to our dealership's accounting team, requiring strong time management skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in computer applications. The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in a dealership setting or demonstrate the capacity to learn our DMS CDK system and related processes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage title work processing for retail, wholesale, and dealer trades utilizing DLR DMV.
  • Handle out-of-state title processing.
  • Understand export processing and its requirements.
  • Maintain all title records and ensure timely acquisition of titles.
  • Assist in costing wholesales, fleet, and dealer trades.
  • Process payoff checks to lienholders.
  • Review accounting schedules weekly.
  • Ensure compliance by reviewing documents.
  • Submit all aftermarket products and process cancellations weekly.
  • Daily posting of manufacturer invoices and credit memos.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Participate in special projects as requested.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school) preferred, in Accounting or a related field.

Experience:

  • Three to five years of relevant experience in Automotive Accounting may substitute for the Associate's degree requirement.
  • Experience with dealership accounting functions is advantageous.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in ADP/CDK Drive XL DMS preferred.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work collaboratively in team settings as well as independently.
  • Strong multitasking and effective communication skills, along with high organizational flexibility.
  • Professional appearance is essential.
