Overview

Warren Henry Automotive Group is expanding, and we are seeking an Automotive Title and Accounting Specialist with experience in accounting and title processing within the automotive sector.

This role is integral to our dealership's accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, effective communication abilities both verbally and in writing, and a high level of efficiency with excellent computer proficiency. Previous experience in a dealership setting is preferred, along with the capability to learn our DMS CDK system and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Processing title work for retail, wholesale, and dealer trades using DLR DMV.
  • Managing out-of-state title processing.
  • Understanding export processing and requirements.
  • Maintaining title books and acquiring titles promptly.
  • Assisting with the costing of wholesales, fleet, and dealer trades.
  • Processing payoff checks to lienholders.
  • Reviewing accounting schedules weekly.
  • Ensuring compliance through document review.
  • Submitting all aftermarket products and processing cancellations weekly.
  • Pulling and posting manufacturer invoices and credit memos daily.
  • Exhibiting strong communication skills with team members.
  • Handling other special projects as requested.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school) preferred, with a focus in Accounting or a related field.

Experience:

  • Three to five years of relevant experience in Automotive Accounting may substitute for the Associate's degree requirement.
  • Experience with dealership accounting functions is advantageous.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in ADP/CDK Drive XL DMS preferred.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively in team settings as well as independently.
  • Capability to multitask, communicate effectively, and maintain a high level of organization and flexibility.
  • Professional personal appearance.
