Job Overview

The Vice President of Revenue Growth will play a pivotal role in the executive leadership team, tasked with crafting and implementing strategies that drive revenue across diverse channels. This position encompasses oversight of all revenue-centric operations, including sales, marketing, business development, and customer success. Key Responsibilities

Revenue Strategy Formulation:

  • Devise and execute thorough revenue enhancement strategies that resonate with the organization’s objectives.
  • Pinpoint new business avenues, emerging market trends, and potential collaborations to broaden revenue sources.
  • Work in conjunction with the CFO and executive leadership to establish revenue benchmarks and growth forecasts.

Sales Oversight:

  • Lead the sales division, setting performance targets, tracking outcomes, and providing guidance and support.
  • Refine sales methodologies, metrics, and KPIs to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage critical client relationships and negotiate significant contracts to bolster revenue.
  • Enhance the sales framework; streamline sales operations and implement consistent, repeatable sales strategies.
  • Expand the business organically by introducing existing clients to new solutions.
  • Refine current marketing tactics and innovate new marketing channels through events, conferences, and webinars.
  • Formulate and implement both short-term and long-term sales strategies, including market segmentation and performance tracking.
  • Direct the CRM processes throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
  • Ensure alignment among sales, customer success, and marketing technologies, focusing on processes and reporting.

Marketing and Brand Development:

  • Guide the marketing team in crafting and executing brand strategies, digital marketing, and demand generation initiatives.
  • Oversee the design and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at generating leads and enhancing brand visibility.
  • Establish a robust demand generation framework, ensuring a consistent influx of qualified leads through contemporary inbound marketing strategies.
  • Implement and optimize marketing attribution models to accurately assess the impact of marketing activities across various channels.
  • Ensure synergy between sales and marketing teams to streamline the customer acquisition process and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Continuously assess and integrate innovative marketing technologies to enhance efficiency and drive results.

Customer Success and Retention Strategies:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the customer journey, identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Implement initiatives to recognize and mitigate churn risks, ensuring high levels of customer engagement.
  • Monitor customer success metrics and initiatives, focusing on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Data Analysis and Performance Reporting:

  • Establish a revenue operations framework that supports the complete customer journey.
  • Leverage data analytics to monitor, evaluate, and report on essential revenue metrics and performance indicators.
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team regarding revenue performance, market dynamics, and strategic initiatives.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies, ensuring ongoing improvement and growth.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team across sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the revenue organization.
  • Ensure the team has access to the necessary tools, training, and resources to meet their objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience as a Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Growth Officer, or similar executive role in a high-growth environment, preferably within the healthcare or revenue cycle management sectors.
  • Proven success in driving substantial revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strong grasp of sales, marketing, and customer success principles, with a history of enhancing revenue.
  • Experience in engaging with hospital systems is advantageous.
  • Deep insight into the revenue cycle management landscape, including market trends and challenges.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and analytical capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM and related sales/marketing tools; strong analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to engage with clients and support team members.
