Senior Vice President, Commercial Growth and Strategy

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead our Mining Business Development efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth and strategy across our commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to our mining business development team, focusing on growth and expansion of our commercial accounts.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability across our mining and energy sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including mining companies, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and to develop and execute strategic plans to capture those opportunities.
- Lead the development and implementation of business development initiatives, including market research, competitor analysis, and sales strategy.
- Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the mining industry, including market trends, competitor activity, and client needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends, and apply that knowledge to drive business growth and innovation.
- 20 years of experience in mining business development, with a strong track record of driving growth and revenue expansion.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- BS degree in a related field, such as engineering, geology, or business.
- Advanced degree preferred.
