Associate Director, Search Fund Project Lead

We are seeking an Associate Director to lead the Stanford Search Fund Project, a unique initiative that aims to advance the search fund industry through research, education, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the project's strategy, including budget planning and management.
- Lead the biennial Stanford Search Fund Study, collaborating with faculty to design and analyze surveys, and write insightful reports on industry trends.
- Build relationships with key industry stakeholders, including investors, CEOs, and searchers.
- Design and plan the biennial Search Fund Conference, curating content, managing attendees and sponsors, and ensuring a high-quality experience.
- Develop and maintain current student resources, including alumni and investor lists, and work with faculty and students to identify and create proprietary resources.
- Assist with the creation, coordination, and grading of search fund courses.
- Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to draw accurate conclusions from analyses.
- Effective organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Comfort with technology and data management.
- Advanced degree, preferably an MBA.
- Strong experience with analysis tools such as R or Python.
- Knowledge and understanding of the search fund industry or private equity.
