This role is crucial within the Small Business Services (SBS) sales strategy team, collaborating closely with SBS's Senior Sales Leadership Team to enhance both revenue and profitability. The position reports directly to the Divisional Vice President of Sales Strategy and is responsible for crafting and implementing SBS's long-term strategic vision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the strategic sales planning process for SBS: formulate short, medium, and long-term strategies based on data-driven analyses.
  • Assist in developing business cases for various strategic projects.
  • Collaborate with Senior Sales Leaders across departments to structure and analyze complex business challenges and identify actionable solutions.
  • Partner with the business development team to assess partnership opportunities.
  • Create persuasive presentations (using Microsoft PowerPoint) that clearly communicate strategic options and facilitate executive decision-making.
  • Ensure timely and effective implementation of recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Sales Transformation, Sales Operations, Program Management, Change Management, and/or process enhancement with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing teams.
  • The ideal candidate must be adept at managing multiple projects of varying complexity in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in solution design – capable of guiding the team towards optimal solutions that enhance both effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Experience in setting strategic direction and managing cross-functional teams, with a readiness to engage personally in the work.
  • Proven ability to drive initiatives that yield measurable, sustained business outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; experienced in influencing and aligning with senior management. Proven facilitation skills to guide teams towards achieving project objectives.
  • Ability to navigate effectively in a matrixed environment, influencing relationships in multiple directions.
  • Willingness to lead untested initiatives, tackling new projects that cross functional boundaries and drive change.
