Role Overview

As a Commercial Pricing Operations Specialist at Exeltis, you will play a crucial role in managing customer pricing, commercial operations, and business analytics.

Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate data from multiple sources to provide informed pricing recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and respond to opportunities, customer requests, and bids for designated retail or institutional accounts.
  • Oversee the complete bid process, including NDC assignments, assessment of new opportunities or pricing challenges, and conducting post-mortem analyses.
  • Perform P&L opportunity evaluations and recommend pricing strategies to the team.
  • Promptly communicate pricing adjustments to third-party logistics and rebate processors.
  • Create presentations for customers or internal stakeholders utilizing business analytics.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the supply chain and sales teams.
  • Manage contracts and customer relations with third-party logistics, including contract setup and modifications, as well as data discrepancy reviews.
  • Examine chargeback discrepancies, verify monthly pricing costs, and confirm PADER sales data.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Monitor pricing metrics and conduct analyses as required.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service on processing purchase orders.
  • Assist in developing pricing strategies for new product introductions.
  • Support customer compliance initiatives and trend analyses.
  • Provide ad hoc analytics related to customers, products, and growth strategies.
  • Generate reports and sales data as requested.
  • Assess market share and deliver insightful analyses regarding market dynamics.

As a Commercial Pricing Operations Specialist, you should be customer-focused, possess strong teamwork and communication skills, and demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, and an analytical mindset with a cost-benefit perspective.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English; Spanish is an advantage.
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years in analytics or strategic roles, preferably within the generic pharmaceuticals sector.
  • Specific Knowledge: Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with the generic pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of IQVIA and pricing databases is a plus.
  • Travel: Not mandatory, though occasional travel may be required.
  • Personal Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.

Physical Demands

This position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days in the office. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers will be utilized.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Note: The employee must meet the physical demands of this role, including independent interaction with internal and external contacts and occasional lifting of office products and supplies up to 40 lbs.
