About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team. As a Business Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.

Your primary services will include coax-delivered Internet, video, and voice, as well as custom hosting, desktop security, data backup, data storage, toll-free services, additional email addresses, static IPs, and more.

You will achieve sales and revenue goals by successfully prospecting for new customers and selling bundled services to existing ones. You will generate all sales leads through various prospecting tactics and work every lead from initial contact to sale.

Salary and Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from $39,900.00 to $65,800.00 per year, with potential for additional earnings through commissions. Our comprehensive benefits package includes opportunities for career growth, professional development, and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience;
  • Placing orders through order management software and working with the Account Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely administrative work;
  • Demonstrating selling skills and product knowledge by practicing with other Account Executives regularly and staying up-to-date on sales techniques;
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales and prospecting activities within assigned territory using Salesforce.com to maximize territory potential;
  • Meeting and exceeding performance standards as defined by the department Standards of Performance (SOP) and the Spectrum Way Sales Model;
  • Attending and participating in sales meetings as established by management.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record;
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; or equivalent experience;
  • Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model preferred;
  • Business-to-business sales experience preferred;
  • Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets preferred.
