Department Overview:
The Human Resources division is structured into three distinct units: Health, Health Sciences, and the main campus. The Partnership functions as a strategic hub, responsible for the planning and execution of HR initiatives across the entire UC Irvine HR landscape. Health Affairs is dedicated to the mission of "Discover. Teach. Heal." and aims to recruit top-tier talent to support its research, educational, and patient care objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
In collaboration with hiring managers and senior leadership, the Senior Recruiter delivers strategic talent consulting to business leaders, ensuring the effective provision of recruitment services. This role involves:
- Developing and executing comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract a high-caliber workforce.
- Partnering with hiring managers to devise talent acquisition strategies and address complex hiring challenges.
- Building and nurturing professional networks while maintaining a keen awareness of the current job market.
- Utilizing advanced employment and staffing techniques to manage diverse and complex recruitment efforts.
- Identifying and presenting qualified candidates for professional-level roles, exercising sound judgment and discretion in staffing assignments.

Compensation:
In addition to the competitive salary range of $$77,000 - $$108,100 (Annual), UC Irvine offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, paid time off, retirement savings plans, and various discounts and perks.
Required Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, with an understanding of how recruitment impacts various departments.
- Expertise in recruitment processes, including screening, interviewing, and candidate referral.
- Familiarity with HR processes and forms, along with organizational principles and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for conducting needs assessments and candidate evaluations.
- Proven ability to identify staffing challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Experience in conducting complex analyses and formulating actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional public speaking skills, with the ability to effectively engage large audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing diverse sourcing techniques, including social media and database searches.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, HRIS databases, and applicant tracking systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent experience with Talent Acquisition Management (TAM) Systems.
- Background in Talent Acquisition within a Healthcare or Academic setting.
