Your Responsibilities

Collaborating closely with hiring managers and senior leadership, the Senior Recruiter offers strategic talent consulting to ensure the effective delivery of recruitment services. You will develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract a high-caliber workforce. Partnering with hiring leaders, you will identify and implement strategies for sourcing necessary talent while addressing complex hiring challenges. The role requires building robust professional networks and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the current job market.


As an experienced professional, you will leverage advanced employment and staffing techniques to navigate diverse and intricate recruitment scenarios. Your responsibilities will include identifying and presenting qualified candidates for professional roles, while exercising considerable judgment and discretion in staffing assignments. You will engage with senior internal and external stakeholders to fulfill recruitment needs.

Compensation Package

In addition to the competitive salary range outlined below, we provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance your experience at UCI. The anticipated salary range for this position is $$77,000 - $$108,100 (Annual).


Required Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, with an understanding of how these impact various functional areas.
  • Extensive knowledge of recruitment processes, including screening, interviewing, and candidate referral.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and documentation, along with organizational principles and procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate with other HR functions related to employment.
  • Understanding of employment law.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for conducting needs assessments and providing input on candidate selection.
  • Proven ability to identify problems and develop solutions in collaboration with business units.
  • Demonstrated capacity for conducting complex analyses and formulating recommendations.
  • Exceptional public speaking skills, with the ability to engage effectively with large audiences.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.
  • Experience utilizing diverse sourcing techniques, including social networking and database searches.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, HRIS databases, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/training.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recent experience with Talent Acquisition Management (TAM) Systems.
  • Prior experience in Talent Acquisition within a Healthcare or Academic setting.
