Job Description

As a Senior Property Accounting Manager, you will oversee and manage the financial operations of a premier Class A office, retail, and parking garage development. Your role will involve close collaboration with the Property Manager to enhance and maximize the value of the asset.

In the absence of the Property Manager, you will be responsible for making critical decisions necessary for the effective operation and management of the property. Your ability to work independently and make informed decisions will be essential.

You will lead a team, providing guidance and support through daily coaching and performance management. Setting clear goals for associates will be a priority to ensure high-quality service and productivity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Participating in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets to align with the owner’s objectives.
  2. Monitoring property performance against established budgets and plans.
  3. Ensuring timely administration of property accounting and financial reporting.
  4. Overseeing vendor and contractor performance, ensuring compliance with service agreements.
  5. Conducting regular property inspections and implementing corrective measures as needed.
  6. Maintaining strong relationships with tenants and addressing their needs promptly.
  7. Managing construction and capital improvement projects, ensuring quality and compliance.

Additionally, you will assist in the development of safety and emergency plans, ensuring preparedness for any unforeseen events.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, real estate, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of five years in Property Management or Facilities Management is essential, with a proven track record of managing similar properties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong analytical skills to review financial statements and operating reports.
Ability to interpret and negotiate real estate documents.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.

Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Driver's License is required.
Preferred certifications include Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Real Property Administrator (RPA).

Physical Demands:
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with property management, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.
