Position Overview:


The Senior Advanced Property Accountant will oversee and manage general property operations and service contracts for a significant Class A office, retail, and parking garage development. This role will work closely with the Property Manager to enhance and preserve the value of the asset.

In the absence of the Property Manager, this position will be responsible for making critical operational decisions and managing property functions independently.

The role includes recruiting, training, and developing staff, providing guidance through daily coaching, and implementing performance management strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting performance goals for associates to boost productivity and ensure exceptional service.
  • Planning and supervising work activities to meet expectations.
  • Consulting with team members to address performance issues and improve outcomes.
  • Participating in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets to align with ownership objectives.
  • Monitoring property performance against budgetary plans.
  • Ensuring timely administration of property accounting and financial reporting.
  • Overseeing maintenance and operational activities of on-site staff.
  • Conducting inspections and implementing corrective measures for any deficiencies.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with tenants and vendors.
  • Managing construction and capital improvement projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business, real estate, or a related field is required.

Experience:
A proven track record in Property Management or Facilities Management is essential, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.

Skills:
Strong analytical skills to review financial statements, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in standard office software are necessary.

Licenses:
A valid driver’s license is required, along with preferred certifications such as Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Real Property Administrator (RPA).

Physical Requirements:
The role requires the ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting and moving objects, and working in diverse environmental conditions.

Compliance with all organizational policies and standards is mandatory.
