Role Summary:

  • The Business Readiness Lead will serve as the primary expert and facilitator between various stakeholders, including dealerships and project teams, during the implementation and acceptance of a new software application.
  • This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the application and its functionalities to assist users in their training and adaptation to the tool.
  • Responsibilities include diagnosing user issues, identifying root causes, and collaborating with relevant teams to address challenges effectively.
  • Regular updates and presentations to senior management are expected, necessitating excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, interpret, and analyze business requirements from diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Effectively communicate progress and updates to senior executives regarding the application rollout.
  • Design and implement a thorough communication strategy for the product launch, ensuring stakeholder engagement throughout.
  • Advocate for both end users and project teams to guarantee a successful application rollout.
  • Facilitate the adoption of new applications, tools, or processes among end customers.
  • Engage with customers, vendors, and various business units, maintaining proactive communication and a focus on results.
  • Drive project outcomes and challenge existing assumptions regarding execution strategies.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive business readiness strategy.
  • Develop and execute project plans in alignment with established organizational standards.
  • Produce training materials, including documentation and instructional videos, for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies related to business readiness.
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to define technical objectives and evaluate usability versus performance trade-offs.
  • Coordinate with quality assurance and development teams to manage defects and ensure proper implementation of changes.
  • Acquire and manage resources from both external vendors and internal teams.
  • Engage in project management enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in technology management, business readiness, or similar roles.
  • Strong background in business readiness activities, including change management, user adoption, training, and communication strategies.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain high-quality standards while working under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to clearly articulate information to stakeholders.
  • Experience in delivering presentations to management and professional peers.
