Role Summary:
- The Business Readiness Lead serves as the primary expert and facilitator between dealerships, divisions, and project teams during the implementation and acceptance of a new application.
- This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the application and its functionalities to assist users in their learning and integration process.
- Responsibilities include diagnosing issues faced by end users, identifying root causes, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to resolve challenges.
- Additionally, the Lead will provide updates and presentations to senior executives, necessitating strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, interpret, and evaluate business requirements from various stakeholders and teams.
- Effectively communicate and present to senior management regarding the status of application deployment.
- Design and implement a thorough communication strategy for the complete product launch, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged.
- Champion the interests of both end users and project teams to guarantee a successful application rollout.
- Assist in the adoption of new applications, tools, or processes by end customers.
- Engage with customers, vendors, and different business units, maintaining proactive communication and a focus on results.
- Drive project outcomes and challenge assumptions regarding the execution of plans.
- Develop and oversee a business readiness strategy.
- Create and implement project plans, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Produce training materials (documentation, videos) for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct business readiness risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to define the technical vision and assess trade-offs between usability and performance.
- Work alongside quality assurance and development teams to manage defects and ensure proper migration of changes into production.
- Coordinate resources and services from both external vendors and internal teams.
- Facilitate project management improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in technology management, business readiness, or similar roles.
- Strong background in business readiness functions, including change management, user adoption, training, and communication planning.
- Proven experience in leading teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Maintain high-quality standards while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
