Join TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC as a Regional Solar Site Manager. This role is essential as we enhance our footprint in the renewable energy sector.

The ideal candidate will oversee the optimal functioning of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, along with the technical and operational facets of solar power facilities. This position demands a hands-on approach at various sites, reporting directly to the Senior Operations Manager.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical diploma/high school diploma accompanied by five (5) years of relevant industry experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in technical and O&M roles within the solar sector.
  • A decade of operations and maintenance experience is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of high voltage substation operations and solar energy technologies.
  • Familiarity with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety practices is essential.
  • NFPA 70E qualifications for low and high voltage systems are advantageous.
  • Experience with SEL, GE protection relays, and RTAC is a plus.
  • Certifications in Sungrow, SMA, and SiemensGamesa inverters are beneficial. Knowledge of energy storage and wind energy is also a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of leading teams effectively and achieving set objectives.
  • Familiarity with PVSYST software is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational skills demonstrated through effective project planning and executive-level reporting to ensure timely decision-making in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Previous experience with CMMS tools (SAP PM) is a plus.
  • Willingness to be fully present on-site and travel between locations.
  • Valid U.S. work permit and driver’s license are required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold TotalEnergies' Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies in all responsibilities, ensuring that external contractors operate in accordance with our HSE standards.
  • Manage daily operations, maintenance, and administrative tasks for multiple large-scale solar and battery energy storage sites primarily in the designated region.
  • Supervise site personnel, including O&M contractors and equipment vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and corporate policies.
  • Provide support and oversight to third-party O&M contractors in troubleshooting, maintenance, and operations to maximize safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain positive relationships with landowners, suppliers, customers, vendors, governmental authorities, and contractors.
  • Assist in developing internal operating policies, standards, and procedures.
  • The role involves approximately 70% outdoor work and 30% indoor work, with outdoor activities subject to weather conditions.
