Join TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC as a Project Construction Supervisor contractor.

The Project Construction Supervisor is accountable for initiating and managing the construction phase of the project or program to guarantee its success by complying with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Supervisor is tasked with ensuring adherence to project specifications and drawings, technical requirements, product and project quality benchmarks, project timelines, and corporate safety objectives.

What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent 6 years' work experience
  • Six years of relevant construction or project management experience, including three years in supervisory roles.
  • Familiarity with new renewable/alternative energy projects is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
  • Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Project/Construction management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel with limited notice and to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation.
  • Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within one hour of the assigned project site.

    INTERNATIONAL CONSIDERATION:

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe, environmentally compliant, cost-effective, and timely execution of project commissioning and operations.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all project activities performed by staff (internal and external). HSE incident reporting.
  • Manage site documentation effectively.
  • Maintain continuous accountability of project historical data, including completed work, performance metrics, and installed asset components.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair work on-site with third-party providers as needed.
  • Conduct Routine Annual Maintenance tasks for assigned projects, including QA/QC inspections, performance evaluations, and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Assist with project planning, including writing work scopes, obtaining quotes, and scheduling work.
  • Aid in troubleshooting and evaluating equipment for assigned projects.
  • Analyze site performance, identify issues, and collaborate with support teams to develop and implement corrective plans to meet key performance indicators.
  • Work with the Technical Support group on equipment failure analysis and preventive measures.
  • Manage budgeted values to maintain profit and loss margins.
  • Ensure all facilities comply with regulatory guidelines, including NERC, ISO, OSHA, and EGP standards.
  • Oversee site inventory, accounting for all spare parts and ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
  • Collaborate with Operations Support on plant performance analysis and action plan development.
  • Work closely with the Control Room Manager on plant operations and maintenance.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, promoting development through performance management.
  • Establish and maintain a 24/7 emergency response schedule for site outages.
  • Direct employees and contractors to ensure TotalEnergies' business objectives are met.
  • Provide technical input regarding contract drawings and documents.
  • Lead daily and weekly meetings with contractors and owners.
  • Ensure contractors meet all deliverable requirements outlined in contracts.
  • Validate contractor schedules, payment applications, and change requests.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental laws and regulations at the job site.
  • Ensure contractors adhere to all environmental and land use permit conditions.
  • Review environmental scopes and audit construction activities.
  • Maintain project schedules and keep management informed of potential changes.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships within the community and with stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison with property owners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in the administration of solar project leases and easements.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
