Customer Service Coordinator

Job Summary:
At Baptist Memorial Health Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and Administrative Coordinator.
• Promote a high level of customer satisfaction during patient interactions, requiring knowledge of departmental and corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely billing information and process appointments.
• Perform direct patient care duties as assigned under the direction of licensed personnel and physician.
• Provide direction and leadership in the clinic/front office operations by coordinating activities through excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for the clinic and front office and provide training as appropriate to implement such change revision.
• Provide for patient safety.
• Complete assigned goals.
Requirements:
• Education: Associate's Degree (Preferred), High School Diploma (Minimum).
• Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
• Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Experience: 3 years experience in oncology or clinical office work (Preferred), 3 years experience in oncology or clinical office work (Minimum).
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Special Skills: Experience with EMR and Clinical Trial Management System (Preferred), Computer skills to include MS Word, Excellent organizational skills, Detail oriented (Minimum).
