Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales Floor Management: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and ensuring that the sales floor is free of clutter.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
  • Upselling and Suggestive Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and suggest complementary products to customers, enhancing their shopping experience and driving sales growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive store environment, and provide support as needed.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and inviting store, including cleaning restrooms, emptying trash bins, and refilling window washing stations.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including participating in visual merchandising, inventory management, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age (18 years of age in certain states).
  • Availability: Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
  • Math Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.
  • Personality Traits: Friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to work well in a team environment.
