Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Director of Business Development and Industrial Sales to lead our Powertrain business development efforts. This role will be responsible for directing a team of Account Managers and driving organic and inorganic growth through strategic partnerships and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth across light vehicle, commercial, and industrial segments
- Manage a team of Account Managers to achieve sales and engineering goals
- Collaborate with Operations and Global Manufacturing Engineering to plan capacity and manufacturing capability needs
- Prepare commercial documents and business case presentations for management approval and customer submissions
- Support Tenneco plants and departments to resolve customer issues timely
- Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or Business degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years working directly with Industrial accounts
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
