**Job Overview:**

Carriage Services is a leading provider of funeral and cemetery services. We are seeking an organized and self-motivated Administrative Assistant to handle clerical duties, coordinate calendars, and organize meetings.

**Responsibilities:*

  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or take messages.
  • Escort visitors and their guests.
  • Perform accounting tasks including AP/AR, inventory, and account reconciliation.
  • Schedule appointments for the business.
  • Compose and type correspondence as needed.
  • Compile and report on statistical data.
  • Input data into CFSS system accurately and timely.
  • Assist client families with processing paperwork and scheduling appointments.
  • Receive and record payments from client families.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.

**Requirements:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of administrative or accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
  • Multi-line phone systems and general office equipment knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

The estimated salary for this position is $17.00+ per hour based on location and industry standards.
