The Opportunity

The Hired Guns are in search of a talented Head of Performance Marketing to spearhead a comprehensive performance marketing initiative for a pioneering global supplement brand poised to revolutionize the MVS health and wellness sector. This organization boasts a distinct value proposition that is exceptionally appealing, and they require your expertise to elevate their marketing efforts.

Compensation

Salary range: $130,000 to $175,000 per annum.

About the Role

This emerging global supplement brand is on a mission to enhance human health and is seeking a seasoned Head of Performance Marketing with extensive cross-channel expertise (both digital and traditional) to propel the business into its next growth phase. Your role will involve directing consumer traffic to drugstores, grocery chains, specialty retailers, as well as Amazon and other e-commerce platforms.

As the Head of Performance Marketing, you will act as the liaison between external agencies and internal stakeholders. Reporting directly to the CMO, your primary responsibility will be to drive conversions and implement a cohesive omnichannel marketing strategy. You will ensure that the marketing framework is optimized for success and that all analytical tools are prepared to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Following strategy development and execution, you will assist in translating insights into actionable optimizations, manage the media budget, and provide recommendations on media investments.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will possess over 6 years of marketing experience (both offline and online), ideally with a background in consumer packaged goods (CPG), the vitamin and supplement industry (MVS), or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals. Experience with Amazon marketing strategies is essential, as it is the leading e-commerce platform for this company. Additionally, you should have a proven track record of driving foot traffic to retail locations, as in-store sales represent a significant portion of the company’s revenue. Experience in trial generation, upper funnel conversion, and cross-channel marketing is also crucial.

You are detail-oriented, possess a deep understanding of the consumer journey, and think strategically about aligning execution and investment with business objectives. You are enthusiastic about building a rising brand and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit coupled with a growth mindset. You are comfortable taking ownership of performance marketing while effectively collaborating with various partners (both internal and external). A significant advantage if you have expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) and can implement successful initiatives that enhance customer loyalty. Lastly, you have experience managing substantial budgets (over $7 million) with impressive return on ad spend (ROAS) and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
