Role Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the SVP & Global Head of Brand, the successful candidate will spearhead the execution of the brand and marketing strategy for Raffles Hotels & Resorts. This includes the creation of impactful marketing initiatives and ensuring their effective implementation on both global and hotel levels.

The primary focus will be on elevating brand awareness, distinctly differentiating Raffles from its competitors, and driving desirability through compelling storytelling.

In collaboration with the SVP, the individual will serve as the custodian of the brand's image and its representation both internally and externally, ensuring visual and communication consistency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the brand strategy through unique and impactful marketing campaigns across various markets and targeted segments.
  • Identifying existing brand differentiators and leveraging them to create cohesive messaging and programs.
  • Collaborating with relevant functional leaders to design and manage innovative 360° global marketing campaigns (media, PR, social media, partnerships, events, CRM, etc.) aimed at enhancing brand visibility and driving sales.
  • Continuously refining marketing efforts by embracing new communication channels, technologies, and emerging trends.
  • Developing and executing a brand-specific customer experience that reinforces brand positioning and enhances competitive advantage.
  • Defining and implementing operational standards for the brand within hotel environments.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of initiatives (customer satisfaction, ROI, market share) and ensuring ongoing improvements.
  • Fostering transparent and proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams (Design, D&TS, Wellbeing, F&B, Commercial, CSR, Operations, etc.) to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and brand positioning.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing and/or communications.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of the luxury sector, particularly within hospitality.
  • A strong passion for art, design, and culture, with a continuous desire to learn.
  • Proven experience in managing a global brand or portfolio successfully.
  • Experience in overseeing media, advertising, and communication agencies.
  • Recognized for exceptional managerial and organizational capabilities, with demonstrated leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels and in diverse environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Additional Information:

Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Salary Range: $125,000 - $184,000 Annually.
