Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Tharaldson Hospitality. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the hotel, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the General Manager in achieving our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate front office activities, including guest registration, check-in, and check-out processes
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Supervise and train front desk staff, ensuring they meet our high standards of service and quality
  • Assist the General Manager in managing the front office budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing revenue
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experiences

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or supervisory role in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including front office systems, guest services, and revenue management
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
