Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Equipment and Inventory Manager at Restaurant Depot. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse, ensuring accurate execution of processes, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Supervise daily activities of the picking and loading management within a cold storage facility, monitor and ensure accurate execution of processes to meet operational goals, considering the challenges of cold storage.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor supervisors, and warehouse staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, provide guidance and coaching to address performance issues and ensure professional growth.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the distribution center's productivity and efficiency in a cold storage context, identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and develop action plans accordingly.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the Logistics team to manage inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and reduce carrying costs, taking into account the challenges of cold storage.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, especially within the unique cold storage environment, promote a safe working environment by enforcing proper safety protocols and conducting regular safety training.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer service within a cold storage context, implement best practices, technology solutions, and automation to drive process improvements.
