Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Telecommunications Inventory Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and accounting for the inventory of telecommunications system parts, equipment, and supply purchases to ensure proper stocking levels for the Wireless Systems Bureau's repair and maintenance plan. This role performs other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the inventory of telecommunications system parts, equipment, and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Develops and implements inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and address inventory discrepancies and supply chain issues.
  • Provides data-driven insights to inform inventory management decisions and optimize supply chain operations.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to inventory management and supply chain operations.

Requirements:

  • Three (3) years of experience in telecommunications systems and component-related roles, including the use of computerized telecommunications parts inventory and maintenance tracking systems.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
