Job Overview:

The Inventory and Delivery Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring timely deliveries. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining operational efficiency within the warehouse and supporting field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee purchasing activities related to inventory adjustments and requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and uphold the physical condition of the warehouse, facilities, and equipment.
  • Manage returns and credits with vendors, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
  • Schedule and execute physical inventory counts throughout the fiscal year.
  • Prepare work orders for repairs and requisitions for the replacement of small tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to address daily delivery needs.
  • Administer tool control processes and manage warehouse waste disposal.
  • Maintain inventory levels, including essential supplies like ice and water.
  • Fulfill requisitions for service department materials and distribute items to technicians.
  • Transfer parts to job sites by accurately pulling inventory and logging it into the system.
  • Monitor back orders for service orders and follow up as necessary.
  • Perform computer data entry and track tools effectively.
  • Conduct minor repairs on tools as needed.
  • Receive and check in materials from suppliers.
  • Coordinate daily transportation of items between the warehouse and job sites.
  • Prepare parcels for mailing and manage returns efficiently.
  • Analyze expenses and purchase costs to manage budgets effectively.
  • Verify and approve materials on work orders prior to invoicing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures among all employees.
  • Manage a fleet of powered industrial trucks and maintain an information system for fleet users.
  • Address inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor incoming deliveries and assist with invoice discrepancies and subcontractor needs.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse and receiving areas for optimal efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and personal performance.
  • Coordinate deliveries to construction sites as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of welding experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with field personnel.
  • CDL required with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
