Job Summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Linen Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the stocking and preparing of linen on allocated carts throughout the hospital.
  • Inventory Counts: Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels and identify discrepancies.
  • Receiving and Shipping: Oversee the receiving and shipping processes, including inspection, verification, and proper documentation.
  • Linen Orders: Prepare, review, and place linen orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Linen Distribution: Allocate linen distribution via inventory software program.
  • Cart Management: Load and unload linen carts, and stock linen on shelves and mobile carts.
  • Customer Service: Communicate positively with hospital staff and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Language: Ability to read and understand English.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer and math comprehension.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Strong teamwork skills and ability to work closely with fellow teammates.
  • Availability: Willingness to work days, nights, and rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Work Environment

The Linen Operations Supervisor will work in a fast-paced linen room environment, with frequent standing, bending, and walking. The position requires the ability to handle materials of up to 50 pounds and to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 pounds.
