Position Title: Project Coordinator
About the Role:
Waahe Capital is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator with expertise in Inventory Management to enhance our Operations team. This position is perfect for an individual who is proactive and self-motivated. We value candidates who are meticulous, highly organized, and capable of navigating complex systems. Strong communication, mathematical, and analytical skills, along with proficiency in relevant software, are essential for success in this role.
The ideal Project Coordinator will possess several years of experience in inventory oversight, exceptional time management abilities, and a solid understanding of organizational strategies. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible hours as needed and excel in building effective working relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize inventory management software to ensure precise inventory records are maintained.
- Support the processes of shipping, receiving, storing, and issuing supplies, materials, and products, including the creation of sales and purchasing orders.
- Conduct inventory audits to identify damages and ensure compliance with purchase order specifications; promptly inform supervisors of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Assist the Project Manager in compiling reports, gathering documentation, and coordinating efforts between maintenance and construction teams as required.
- Engage in internal reporting to monitor project timelines and hours worked.
- Complete reports on receiving discrepancies and follow up on inventory issues.
- Collaborate with technicians to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Timely report any safety concerns or hazards to management.
- Propose and implement approved strategies for improved storage, inventory management, and warehouse efficiency.
- Manage Bill of Materials and Kitting materials according to the Work Order System, with training provided.
- Conduct cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy within the Inventory Management System.
- Maintain organized files, documentation, data entry, and processing.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned, which may vary based on business needs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience in warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management and warehouse processes.
- Experience with WMS and Barcode Scanners is preferred.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Dependable and adaptable, with a strong ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable with technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Manual dexterity for regular use of hands and fingers.
- Visual acuity for document preparation and inspection.
- Trustworthy and possess integrity.
Work Schedule:
This position typically requires 40 hours of work per week, with overtime compensated according to applicable labor laws.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
