GENERAL OVERVIEW
Support inventory management processes. Assist in the loading and unloading of goods. Secure necessary approvals for all shipments and collections. Carry out warehouse tasks including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and conducting inventory audits. Collaborate with the Facility Manager on various operational activities as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in loading trailers according to shipping documents, ensuring optimal order for deliveries.
- Ensure that picking and shipping orders are processed and packed within the specified timelines.
- Record and process materials received on the same day, ensuring accurate documentation is forwarded to relevant departments.
- Maintain daily replenishment of warehouse stock.
- Ensure precise inventory levels are upheld consistently.
- Keep the work area organized and tidy.
- Participate in cross-training for various departments and perform assigned tasks as needed.
- Support cycle counts as required.
- Generate back-order reports and communicate updates to customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with picking, packing, receiving, shipping, and hazardous materials operations preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment with frequent interruptions.
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills required.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills required.
- Assess the accuracy of various processes according to established guidelines learned during training.
- Identify opportunities for improving efficiency in roles and responsibilities.
- Work independently while completing assigned tasks.
Successfully complete forklift operation training and obtain a forklift operation license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is dynamic, with warehouse activities occurring in various locations throughout the facility and at customer and supplier sites. The work environment reflects typical conditions encountered in a standard warehouse, with exposure to both heat and cold. The noise level is generally moderate.
