Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team at Wellbore Integrity Solutions. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating revenue from assigned territories by selling our products and services to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned territories to drive revenue growth.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales strategies to promote our products and services to customers, including identifying customer needs and providing exceptional service from sale to delivery and collections.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain key relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to gather market intelligence and identify direct and indirect sales opportunities.
  • Account Management: Maintain accurate sales information in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program for assigned accounts, including customer contact information, customer organizational charts, key buyers, and sales opportunities.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct or assist with rig inventories as required by customers or when a new rental job is shipped, and/or when the job is released. Work with operations personnel to ensure accurate paperwork and acquire signatures from company representatives for delivery tickets and acknowledging missing tools and file documentation.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Collect and communicate accurate and detailed contact information for all orders or opportunities, and capture competitive intelligence by providing written reports detailing who is currently providing services that compete with WIS by rig, by field or assigned territory.
  • Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify and communicate potential cross-PL opportunities and under-served markets.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate, communicate, and engage regularly with supervisor, other Sales Development Representatives, Account Representatives, Operations Managers, Field Service Managers, and support staff.
  • Product Knowledge: Provide basic product/service recommendations and product demonstrations to customers, and assist in troubleshooting product/service performance in the field and resolving complaints.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customer problems arising from sales are responded to and appropriately managed.
  • Professional Development: Understand sales programs, new product introduction, etc., within assigned sales territory, and attend training courses to maintain knowledge of key technologies as well as competitor practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and support continuous improvement projects, and develop technical knowledge through on-the-job training and certification classes.
  • Expense Management: Manage expenses per company policy and as a good steward, turning reports in on a timely fashion.
  • Compliance: Comply with all Company & Regulatory HS&E & Quality and IT standards and policies, and comply with customer required HS&E certifications and maintain those certifications up to date.
  • Special Projects: Handle special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: High School education or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience preferred.
  • Sales Fundamentals: Proficiency in all areas of sales fundamentals, including prospecting, cold calling, listening, planning, presenting, overcoming objections, follow-up, negotiation, closing, conflict resolution, networking, referral generation, and reporting.
  • Commercial and Market Understanding: Strong commercial, market, and customer understanding required.
  • Proactivity and Creativity: Must be proactive and creative.
  • Downhole Tools and Oilfield Services: Knowledge of downhole tools and oilfield services required.
  • Work Ethic: Excellent work ethic, demonstrated by a positive attitude and completing assignments on time.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and nonverbal communication.
  • Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Prioritization and Workflow Management: Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
