About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team at TransPerfect. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to drive growth and retention.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and strategic partnerships.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, including generating daily outreach efforts to prospective clients.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and manage a productive pipeline, managing each phase of the sales process from lead generation to business closing.
  • Proposal Development: Develop project budgets and create proposals that articulate the value of TransPerfect's services and solutions.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and leverage this knowledge to identify and refer opportunities to specialist sales and client service teams.
  • Travel: Travel domestically and internationally to attend conferences, client meetings, and other business-related events.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions.
  • Sales Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of sales experience in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
