Job Overview

The Head of Human Resources at HumCap, Inc. is responsible for steering the comprehensive human resources operations, encompassing talent acquisition, employee retention, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance within the construction services industry, with a workforce exceeding 500 employees.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with the Executive team to formulate and implement a strategic human resource plan that addresses current and future talent requirements, focusing on recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and regulations by advising management and providing necessary training to supervisors.
  • Guide employees and management through performance and disciplinary processes, ensuring fair and consistent handling of issues.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in human resources, applying this knowledge to enhance organizational policies.
  • Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring effective communication of these offerings to employees and management.
  • Promote the company’s mission and values through internal and external communication strategies, positioning HumCap, Inc. as an employer of choice.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture by engaging with employees and facilitating feedback initiatives to enhance team morale.
  • Oversee a robust onboarding process to ensure new hires achieve productivity swiftly.
  • Analyze HR metrics and generate reports related to employee data, including turnover rates, staffing levels, and compensation trends.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a construction or light industrial environment.
