Position Overview

The Lead Human Resources Specialist is a pivotal role that delivers comprehensive Human Resources support to our manufacturing facility and its personnel. This position is essential in implementing our workforce strategies, ensuring exceptional internal customer service, and promoting HR operational excellence and process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret applicable governmental regulations, keeping management informed while ensuring that the company's policies align with statutory requirements.
  • Enhance the performance management framework and monitor the progress of performance improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee performance-related projects and additional HR initiatives as required.
  • Execute various HR tasks as directed by the supervisor.
  • Compile, update, and maintain diverse records and reports, including policy documentation, HR Activity Reports, onboarding and offboarding lists, and organizational charts.
  • Collaborate with leadership to maximize employee performance.
  • Assess training requirements, design, and deliver a range of training programs.
  • Facilitate the communication and execution of recognition programs and events.
  • Engage with the Safety Committee to uphold compliance standards.
  • Champion and drive employee engagement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in HR, Employee Relations, Onboarding, Recruitment, and Training.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate skills in Excel data analysis and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to compose clear and concise reports, business correspondence, and policy documents.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, industry standards, and legal requirements pertaining to HR practices.
  • Capability to operate effectively in a manufacturing setting.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Flexibility to support multiple shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Workday software.
