Responsibilities

Relationship Building. Cultivate and manage relationships with large, complex organizations. Identify and create new opportunities within high-profile accounts while strengthening existing connections. Engage in and present at industry events, workshops, and seminars. Customer Insight. Exhibit advanced knowledge of the industry and its relevance to GIS applications. Identify key stakeholders and business drivers within organizations, gaining access to high-level decision-makers. Understand intricate customer budgeting and procurement processes. Continuous Learning. Clearly communicate the advantages and value of Esri technology in the context of the Imagery and Remote Sensing sector. Regularly pursue professional development and research to maintain competitive knowledge. Utilize innovative presentation skills to enhance visual storytelling. Achieving Results. Proactively manage account strategies and sales processes to meet revenue objectives. Continuously assess contributions to customer satisfaction and needs. Team Collaboration. Lead account strategies through consistent collaboration with various teams across Esri and our business partners. Share knowledge actively and support team members through mentorship. Demonstrate motivation and resourcefulness to address challenges.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in enterprise sales or relevant consulting and program management roles. 5+ years of experience in federal government support or operations. Proven track record in managing sales cycles, fostering partnerships, and establishing trust with large clients. Strong financial and business acumen to devise effective account growth strategies. In-depth knowledge of the Imagery and Remote Sensing industry, including emerging technology trends, with the ability to translate this into complex customer solutions. Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and their interrelations within the Imagery and Remote Sensing domain. Exceptional visual storytelling and negotiation skills across all organizational levels. Familiarity with industry fiscal cycles, budgeting, and procurement processes. Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in remote sensing, image science, engineering, GIS, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Recommended Qualifications

General understanding of data science or spatial analysis and its application in problem-solving and identifying patterns within organizations.
