Business Development Representative

About the Role
FitzMark is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing a pipeline of prospective transportation opportunities with shippers across all industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of our customers' needs and develop solutions to meet their transportation requirements
- Generate new sales opportunities through cold-calling, emailing, and networking
- Collaborate with our carrier operations department and account management team to ensure best-in-class service
- Prepare pricing, rate negotiations, and transportation bids in a timely manner
- Support the development of existing and new customers across all means of transportation
Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience highly preferred
- Minimum 1-year sales experience preferred
