- Develops independent account business with a focus on enhancing profitability through new sales initiatives and account engagement.
- Promotes and sells company-branded products to achieve sales targets.
- May assist in customer service functions for regional and national chain clients, thereby increasing the company's visibility and market share.
- Acts as a collaborative team member within the department and organization, undertaking any assigned duties to best serve the company.
- Identifies new business opportunities by analyzing sales territories and customer profiles; samples products to existing and potential clients; formulates sales strategies, including time and territory management; customizes sales approaches for individual clients; and delivers impactful sales presentations.
- Continuously increases sales and profit margins to meet established targets.
- Establishes new customer accounts by determining pricing and collaborating with the Credit Department for initial approvals, along with coordinating with other personnel for order-taking and deliveries.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by providing exemplary service and coordinating efforts with other personnel to address and resolve customer issues.
- Enhances business with current clients through product penetration to maximize account profitability.
- Minimizes accounts receivable challenges by monitoring compliance with credit terms and addressing any issues promptly.
- Maintains awareness of pricing trends within the sales territory, particularly for market-driven and commodity products, to ensure competitive pricing.
- Performs additional related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
24 months of sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience
Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Sales/Marketing, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in foodservice sales/marketing and/or restaurant operations
