We are looking for a Part Time Regional Sales Manager who will thrive in coaching and developing a team of Field Coffee Sales Advisors within a designated area. Position Overview

The Nespresso Regional Sales Manager will receive training on all specific client program initiatives to effectively engage sales representatives, retail vendor associates, and store customers regarding the latest Nespresso product offerings. This role will supervise the daily growth of an assigned group of Field Nespresso Advisors, traveling to various retail locations to deliver targeted mentoring, training, and coaching sessions to ensure all representatives are knowledgeable about the products and executing sales strategies effectively. The Regional Manager will also be responsible for managing product demonstration supplies, nurturing retailer relationships, and showcasing engaging demonstrations during store visits.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for coffee, a solid background in sales, and a positive attitude to consistently promote the Nespresso brand and its sustainable business practices.

Schedule & Locations

Hours per week

+ Open availability Thursdays through Mondays

+ Visit local retailers on a rotational basis within the assigned territory

Responsibilities

Sales Support

+ Identify sales opportunities at the store level (advertising, demo inventory, and traffic awareness)

+ Schedule and conduct sales events at the store level

+ Communicate any inventory issues (either too high or out of stock) to the manufacturer and retailer appropriately

Training & Development

+ Provide ongoing sales floor training sessions for assigned ActionLink Nespresso representatives at least once per month

+ Ensure representatives are well-informed on Nespresso manufacturing and product knowledge, including features/benefits, machine usage principles, recycling credentials, and hardware overview

+ Implement sales skills assessments and coaching interventions where applicable

+ Engage in introductory training for new product rollouts

Internal Communication

+ Accurately complete call reports on the same day of store visits that include:

+ Detailing state of stores, traffic flow, sales trends, competitive activity, inventory issues, etc.

+ Pictures/photos with detailed descriptions

+ Comments

+ Promptly escalate in-store issues through appropriate channels

+ Identify competitive advantages and submit ideas to address them at the local level

+ Participate in team conference calls

Operational Responsibilities

+ Consistently meet predefined visit frequency goals, adhering to Acosta Group's travel and expense policies

+ Consistently meet predefined expense goals

Qualifications

+ 2-3 years of experience in retail sales or at special events

+ Some retail experience in a supervisory, training, or lead capacity is a plus

+ Enthusiast of coffee-related beverages

+ Strong ability to manage relationships at all levels and motivate others

+ Engaging attitude with superior interpersonal communication skills

+ Comfortable presenting to individuals and groups

Physical Requirements:

+ Must be willing and able to travel to different retail locations throughout the assigned territory (locally by vehicle and nationally by plane as needed)

+ Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to rent a car under Acosta Group's corporate insurance standards

+ Must adhere to professional appearance standards as required by Acosta Group and client

+ Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods of time

+ Must be able to lift 30 lbs. without assistance

+ Access to a smart device with a data plan

+ Access to reliable transportation
