Job Overview

Position Summary:

The role of Regional Account Director encompasses overseeing formulary access for Rezdiffra within designated regional payers. This position requires collaboration with a cross-functional team to implement effective pull-through strategies. Interaction with various levels of regional payers, including Pharmacy Directors and Medical Directors, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the NASH disease state, Rezdiffra clinical data, and commercialization strategies to enhance customer engagement through insights on the NAFLD/NASH continuum.
  • Formulate both immediate and long-term tactical plans to enhance Rezdiffra coverage across assigned regional accounts.
  • Utilize and advocate for core market access resources and sales planning tools.
  • Facilitate and support interactions between the MML/HEOR/Marketing teams and customers, fostering collaboration with stakeholders to develop patient-centric solutions.
  • Assist the National Account team in crafting and communicating effective pull-through initiatives that promote successful contract performance in alignment with Sales and Area Directors.
  • Collaborate with functional matrix team leaders to enhance business performance and address complex business challenges.
  • Engage with Patient Support to ensure timely communication regarding coverage challenges and trends.
  • Develop and implement Regional Access Matrix Business Plans in conjunction with cross-functional leaders.
  • Regularly review and update formulary information for dissemination to key internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct all business activities with the utmost compliance and integrity, adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Anticipate dedicating approximately 70% of work time to managing regional accounts and 30% to cross-matrix collaboration.
  • Travel requirements may vary by region, with estimates ranging from 60-80%.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven success in account management is essential.
  • Residence within the designated geographic area is mandatory.
  • Extensive relationships with regional plan pharmacy and medical directors are preferred.
  • A demonstrated history of consistently achieving quantitative and qualitative objectives is necessary.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment is crucial.
  • Exceptional written, organizational, and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel, is expected.

Compensation:

The anticipated annual base salary for this position ranges from $170,000 to $240,000. Salary is influenced by various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market conditions. The role may also qualify for bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
