Position Summary:
The Regional Account Director for the Western Region will be responsible for ensuring formulary access to Rezdiffra among assigned regional payers. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams to implement effective pull-through strategies. The position requires interaction with multiple levels of regional payers, including Pharmacy Directors, Medical Directors, and Quality Management professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the NASH disease state, Rezdiffra clinical data, and commercialization strategies to enhance customer engagement.
- Formulate both short-term and long-term tactical plans to maximize Rezdiffra coverage across designated regional accounts.
- Utilize and advocate for essential market access resources and sales planning tools.
- Facilitate interactions between the MML/HEOR/Marketing teams and customers, fostering collaboration with stakeholders to create patient-centric solutions.
- Assist the National Account team in developing and communicating effective pull-through initiatives to ensure successful contract performance.
- Work closely with functional matrix team leaders to enhance business performance and address complex business challenges.
- Engage with Patient Support teams to ensure timely communication regarding coverage issues and trends.
- Develop and implement Regional Access Matrix Business Plans in collaboration with cross-functional leaders.
- Regularly review and update formulary information for dissemination to key internal stakeholders.
- Conduct all business activities with the highest standards of compliance and integrity, adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
- Anticipate spending approximately 70% of work time managing assigned regional accounts and 30% on cross-matrix collaboration.
- Travel requirements may vary by region, estimated between 60-80%.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven success in account management is essential.
- Must reside within the geographic area of responsibility.
- Extensive relationships with regional plan pharmacy and medical directors are preferred.
- A demonstrated history of consistently achieving quantitative and qualitative targets.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel.
Compensation Overview:
The anticipated annual base salary for this position ranges from $170,000 to $240,000, influenced by various factors including qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market conditions. The role may also be eligible for bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
